The band is also planning the release of a limited special edition of “Heroes”, “Sway” and “Shine It All On” albums... alltogether in one box, plus additional footage and two never before seen Casanova videos from the nineties! Watch out for that!

“Casanova is starting to rehearse with their former bass-player Jochen Mayer the next days. The reasons for the once-again-change in the line-up weren’t really any personal problems with bassist Jurgen Attig - actually he’s such a nice guy! The only thing was that Jurgen had to fulfill some long-termed contracts for some other musical projects, causing difficulties for Casanova to realize further tour-plans. Michael Voss’ old friend Barend Courbois - the awesome bass-artist of the legendary dutch band Vengeance, helped the band out for their shows in England and Spain.
Now it was time, to find a other solution: Jochen Mayer made it again!!! Everybody knows Jochen since the “One Night Stand”-album and his bass-playing fits perfectly in Casanova.
The band is looking forward to play at the UFOR-Festival on the 30.10.05 and plans to re-release the hard to find Casanova “Heroes” album - the last recording of the original Mark II line-up in 1998 - for next year”.

The concerts in Spain and England have been a great success for Casanova opening doors for further tour-plans in Europe!
The first show after long years electrified the sold-out Ritmo y Compas club in Spain’s capital Madrid. The band was amazed at the euphoric crowd there giving them an overwhelming welcome for their Spain debut and sang along with the songs right away - what a f.... great atmosphere!
The set-list runs from the early rockers “Don’t Talk About Love”, “Hollywood Angels” and “Burning Love” to the gems of the actual album “All Beauty Must Die”. Songs like “On My Love”, “Not Over You” and “Happy” showed a perfect link from the past till today.
As a very special guest Doro visited her old Warlock-bandmate Michael Eurich in Madrid and enjoyed the show, having some nice compliments for the band afterwards. Another great gig in Bilbao followed and Casanova conquered Spain in only two days - hoping to be back soon. Back home in Germany the guys performed a show in Rheine and were confirmed as a support for Dokken. But Michael Voss’ bad accident while playing soccer upset all the plans. After canceling the Dokken show the band was even afraid having to renounce the show at the Firefest in England. Nobody at the hospital was sure that Michael could walk again in such short time after his operation.
But once embarked on a mission, go for it! Sportsmen like Michael Voss gave a shit on what the doctor told him and Casanova entered the stage at the Firefest together with great bands like TNT and Soul Sirkus. As a very special guest appearance singer Gary Barden (Ex-MSG/Statetrooper) joined the stage with Casanova and they performed a passionate version of the all-time classic “Doctor Doctor”. Pure rock energy hit Bradford! So, watch out for the upcoming Casanova dates in Germany...

Casanova forced to cancel show with Dokken!!

Sad news coming from Casanova singer Michael Voss today. Due to a rupture of one of his hamstrings, Michael is currently is forced to stay in hospital. Therefore, the band will not be able to appear as planned at Dokken’s show in Aschaffenburg, Germany next Tuesday. Dokken are currently looking for a replacement for the opening slot for that date.

Best wishes to Michael – get well again soon, mate!
